Meet Zeus - or at least, that's what we're calling him. He arrived at H3 in November. A transfer from Chickasha animal control here in Oklahoma. His backstory is a mystery. We don't know much about where he's been or what he's endured. Yet, in the absence of a known past, we see a chance for a fresh start, free from the shadows of his past.What little we do know about Zeus paints a portrait of a gentle soul. He's a laid-back dude who finds solace in the comfort of indoor spaces, often retreating to his crate for quiet moments. And unfortunately, his journey here wasn't an easy one. No one cared enough to provide him with preventative treatments. And now he is heartworm positive. So, he's getting some treatment for that now.Despite his rough start, Zeus has some quirks. He's super picky about food and loves hiding treats in his blankets. But one thing's for sure - he's a real sweetheart who loves attention and playing with people.Zeus's story is one of resilience and hope, but it's far from over. He longs for a forever home where he can thrive and continue his journey of healing.
