Amon - (The Hidden One) ... This is a very apt name because this goodboy is hiding in plain sight. With me for the last 6 months, he's gonefrom uncontrollable whirlwind kid to a dynamic, loving teen family member and social butterfly. Affectionate, playful and non-aggressive...he loves to snuggle on the couch with dog or human, and interacts eagerly with others. He loves everyone, and only wants youto live large and share life!He needs exercise! A bounding 45 pounds of exuberance at times.Loves to go for walks and explore the (required) fenced yard forsquirrels and bunnies! He does fine with slower walks with big sisterLily, but appreciates going faster as well...so may do well with a jogger,etc. Eager to learn. Fetching a ball is a favorite game...he alsoentertains himself with a stuffed animal or stick. Loves to socialize withnew friends, and usually the first few minutes are chaotic. Fast friendssoon after.Fully house-trained. Waits by door when he needs to pee or poop.Adapts well to a regular schedule. Modifies behavior with stern wordsalone, and then self-kennels. He's fine in a kennel but doesn't usuallyneed it. Saturday morning golf for me and he will sleep in his openkennel for 3 hours. Loves having a sibling dog to hang with. He loves carrides and social interactions. He'll always choose to go with rather thanstay home. As the "Dog of the Game for the Saints, he was in his glorywith all the attention! He is very smart (and a bit cunning).I think Amon will do best in an active home that respects his energylevels. A securely fenced yard is needed. He has a lot of love andengagement to give to the right family. Finally, he is most handsomeand photogenic!
