Otis is a 12-going-on-7-year-old sled dog. He was born from an accidental litter in Alaska and has moved with us over those 12 years to five different states. He’s slowing down a little, but still gets big zoomies. He knows when his people are sick or feeling down and stays by our side. He’s a huge part of our family. Sadly, he bit our three year old daughter badly enough that we now need to find him a new home. He had never bitten a person before and had historically been incredibly gentle with her. Our vet says that with age, his eyelid muscles are weakening and he may not be able to see very well, which is likely why he bit her out of surprise when she went for a hug. He will thrive best in a home with no children and no dogs.
