He's a friendly dog who enjoys toys and knows fetch. He even dropped the toys for me! Elon has a cloudy eye but it does not appear to affect his vision. He was happy to receive pets and took my treats after a lengthy investigation (spit the treat out 3 times before deciding he indeed liked it lol). Elon has overall good manners, did not jump or mouth unless I really got him riled up during play. 5/16/24 staff notes: Elon was standing at the front whining with soft eyes and mid level wags. When I opened the door and displayed my leash, he jumped back retreating to the other side of the kennel. I opened the door wider and he continuously was dodging the leash, alert barking, play bowing and retreating. He would come forward with mid level wags for pets, and lick my hand a bit but then retreat again with the leash, but once lassoed he came right out. Elon was a bit chaotic on leash, zig zagging a lot and pulling. In the yard he did use the bathroom quite a bit. He wasn't super handler oriented at first, but did come over after a little while leaning in for pets. He was loose and wiggly with all pets. His favorite thing of all are soft toys! He lovedddd chasing them, playing tug of war, and shaking them. He had lots of energy to get out! He is a tiny bit snatchy with his toys but it seems more like he wants to play tug rather than any type of guarding. He trades without issue, and if you take the toy and wait a bit, he does sometimes drop it for you to throw again. On the way back, he did thrash at first outside of kennel, but after crouching down and petting him for a bit, I was able to gently coax him into kennel.
