Brenda is truly a special pup who has already come a long way in the short time she's been with her temporary foster family. She thrives on love, patience, and understanding, and we've seen her true personality shine through as she's become more comfortable in her surroundings.*Personality Highlights:**- Brenda is incredibly loving and cuddly, and she adores spending time with us and our two dogs.- Despite her initial shyness, she's friendly and playful once she feels comfortable in her environment.- Brenda gets along wonderfully with other dogs and shows no signs of resource guarding. She happily engages in playtime and shares toys without any issues. She may be too overwhelmed by lots of dogs at once though so we recommend no dog parks or daycares.- While she may experience anxiety in certain situations, particularly on leash or around unfamiliar dogs, Brenda demonstrates remarkable resilience with patience and reassurance.- We believe Brenda would thrive in a home where she can receive the attention and understanding she deserves. She could be a great addition to a family with other dogs, but slow introductions are essential for success. Alternatively, she would do equally well as an only fur-child in a loving home environment. **Training Achievements:** Brenda's a quick learner! With minimal effort, she's mastered the agility tunnel, fetch and basic commands like sit, stay, and off. We're currently working on leave it and perfecting her loose leash skills, and she's already showing progress! **Interactions with Other Pets:**Brenda had the chance to meet and play with dogs at the shelter park before coming into foster care. Behaviorists reported that while she was somewhat tense at first, she quickly relaxed and enjoyed play dates with more gentle dogs.
