My family adopted sweet Gilly from Charlotte at the beginning of this year. He is estimated to be around 2 years old. We had him DNA tested and he is stafford terrier, cane corso, mastiff, and boxer. He is such a sweet boy, loves to snuggle, and so intelligent. House trained, treat trained, crate trained, and knows simple commands. When we adopted Gilly, we had another dog in our home and they get along great. He did show some resource guarding with food but has gotten much better. But, we have learned that he needs to be in a home with no other dogs. He very clearly became my “protector” but that does not go over well with our other dog. We feel it’s best to find him a home where he can be the “protector of the house.” The adoption fee will be donated to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter
