Achilles, a red-nosed pit-bull, was adopted from my brother in Oct. 2021. My brother is military & adopted Achilles when he was 1.5 years old. B/c of military deployments, Achilles often had to stay w/ friends or family members while for long periods of time which caused Achilles to develop separation anxiety. When my brother was restationed to Hawaii, b/c Achilles is not crate/kennel trained, he was unable to transport take him to Hawaii, so we adopted him. He is absolutely the sweetest dog, not aggressive towards humans at all; although he will chase down bikes, scooters, and skateboards, so it's best to keep him leashed when outdoors. He is a fully house broken, indoor dog who is thinks he's a lap dog & loves attention from humans. Whenever we are around, he lays around just content to be in our presence. Because of his separation anxiety, he needs to be in a loving home with humans who are home all the time or who can take him along on outings. He does not do well alone.
