Hi I'm Zara! My name means Princess and that's EXACTLY what I am. Take it or leave it. I'm a typical sassy shih-tzu. I may look cute, cuddly and fluffy... but I take some time to bond and become friendly. Once I trust you and feel safe... you will meet a whole different dog that loves to give kisses and hates to leave your side!Strangers and new people coming into my space really frighten me, and I may act protective... it helps me feel safe if I have a room or crate to retreat to. I can get a little cranky at times - so a quiet, calm home would be ideal for me to thrive in. ABSOLUTELY NO CHILDREN. ADULT HOME ONLY.*Grooming may be a challenge that must be considered if you are interested in me, its suspected that I have had negative grooming experiences in the past and now I am quite fearful of the entire ordeal. I do not like my face groomed/touched. I will take time, and patience to have a successful, stress-free spa day.I'm looking for a home/owner that will truly understand my boundaries, and work with me to overcome fears. I have quite a mystery of a history... so please be patient with me. I'll be here waiting! Stop by any day between 1pm and 4pm.
