Mattie is an older dog, 11 years old and about 65 lbs. She has been in the same home since she was 6 months old. She was adopted from Connecticut. Her breed is unknown but thought to be a mix of Great Dane and Sighthound. Her current home has become busy with three children and two working parents and the family just does not have the time for her. Mattie does have stomach issues and may just need help with her diet trying different foods might work. Mattie has anxiety, would do best in a home as an only dog or pet and no children. She is not socialized with other dogs, has not played much so does not know how to interact. Mattie has nipped when stepped on trying to get around her; Mattie needs an experienced and knowledgeable owner who can give her a great life for her remaining years.
