We rescued this wonderful lab/shepherd mix only to discover she loves us but not our lifestyle. She does not enjoy traveling in the RV for months at a time or spending long hours on the boat. Unfortunately, as retirees we spend most of our time enjoying these two pursuits. We have never had a shepherd but we can say in all other ways (temperament/personality), she is all Labrador. We just want to do right by her. She is an incredible dog. She is beautiful, healthy, loves children and other dogs. She would be an amazing family dog or companion for an active single person or a couple. A fenced yard or acreage would be an ideal situation for her. We named her Patoot (Cutie-Patootie). Our vet puts her birthdate as September 26 so she is 7+ months now. A couple of weeks ago we took her in for a nail trim and she weighed 40 lbs. Our vet estimates her top end weight will be 50 lbs. Vaccinations are all up to date. She was spayed on March 26. She has always tested negative for heartworm.
