Hi Everyone! My name is Bondi Beach and there is a 99.99999% chance I’m wagging my tail right now! I’m full of boundless energy and even more love that I’m ready to give my forever family!I was surrendered by my owners to an overcrowded shelter down in Georgia, but luckily I hitched a ride up to NYC and landed in Brooklyn with my foster mom and a doggy foster brother. I love exploring the smells of the city, but the noises and other dogs sometimes make me a bit anxious and I might bark at them a bit if I’m on my leash. I absolutely LOVE playing fetch, tug of war, and with puzzle toys that keep my mind busy! My foster mom has been super impressed with how good I’ve gotten at entertaining myself while she works from home and how well I’ve adjusted to living in a tiny Brooklyn apartment given how much energy I have! As much as I love my walks, I love to run, and dog parks are a bit overwhelming for me! What I would really love is a home with a yard or other space where I can play fetch with my people or a resident dog friend. I’m incredibly treat motivated and love a task, whether it’s agility work or hunting for treats my foster mom hides around the apartment.I’m friendly and warm up to all people pretty quickly, but sometimes I get very excited and jump on them. I’d love a home with people who can continue to help me work on my manners. I do great in my crate, whether it’s bedtime or you have to go out, and as long as I stay on a consistent schedule, I’m a potty-trained pro!
