Well, their mom Casey is ready to find her forever home. Casey was found with her puppies under busted concrete slabs on a property in Mississippi. It was freezing with snow on the ground and we got to them just in time thanks to some amazing good Samaritans. Casey is still learning to trust people and new places. She is very sweet but very scared and everything is a new experience. She will walk on leash but you have to be careful that she doesn’t get scared and pull away. Casey is better with females but with some patience is slowly learning to trust men also. Casey would be fabulous for someone that wants an adult to encourage, love and introduce to new things. She will get scared, will pancake on the floor and she will refuse to walk at times. She will hide behind a chair, belly crawl and tremble. We love her dearly and sincerely hope we find the right family for her. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day.
