Looking for foster or adopter! Meet Macaroni! She and her sister, Cheese, are eager to please and get along with dogs, cats, and kids! They can be fostered together or in different homes, same for an adopter. They are happy lab mix puppies around 7-8 months old. Macaroni loves playing, being petted, and doing all the things a happy puppy should be able to do. Cheese is more calm and would rather get snuggles and pets while Macaroni chases the ball. Macaroni Pros: Young and eager to learn any trick.Cons: Close talker (Don't worry. She doesn't talk much at all.) Cheese Pros: Calm and sweet, especially for a puppy.Cons: Hugs too long (Just kiddin'. There's no such thing as a too-long puppy hug.) They're in the KC metro, but transport might be available to the right home.Adoption processThe Pet Connection The Pet Connection offers MORE with every adoption making your experience more economical and enjoyable. •Pre-adoption veterinarian examination•Neutered pet•Cats tested for FeLV/FIV•Dogs tested for heartworm/ehrlichia/lyme•Cats vaccinated for FVRCP & rabies•Dogs vaccinated for DA2PPC & rabies•All pets are microchipped prior to going home•All pets treated for fleas and worms•Dentals or other medical needing completed•Temperament screening While the pet is in our program we start getting to know them better. The cats are taught to use a scratching post. Dogs are taught to sit, come, stay, and go. We housebreak the animals while they are in our program and start training them to walk on a leash. Adopters receive: •Reduced cost veterinarian care for 60 days if there is a medical problem•Free training and behavioral consultations for life of the pet•Support services for the pet if it becomes lost or stolen•Professional staff
