Radish is a spunky, bossy woo girl who loves everyone and everything. She is dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly and has never met a person she hasn’t loved. Raddy woos when she wants attention, needs help, or is trying to communicate something. (Usually that she needs to go potty, or she is just demanding extra attention). She has a tough time settling down at first, but who can blame her with the conditions she lived in. But once she does settle down, she is the BEST cuddle bug. As a bossy girl, she will demand pets & will paw and guide your hand to her stomach to get scratches and if you stop she will just paw your hand again and again until she has decided that’s enough. Raddy is certainly a follower. One of her favorite games (in her mind) is follow the leader. If her future mom/dad or dog sibling gets up she must follow them so she’s not missing out on anything. She will jump play with her foster brother and follow his every move out in the yard. She does great sharing toys with anyone. You can take toys and give to other dogs or play with them yourself and Raddy girl has no care in the world, except to get that extra attention. Her favorite toys are plush toys that squeak- she almost always has one in her mouth. When there is not one available she substitutes with socks (could be on your feet, blankets or sleeves but does good when redirected to a toy). She also likes bones and kongs bc who doesn’t. Radish does know sit and stay but forgets everything she’s ever known when she’s too excited. She does okay on a leash, she is definitely better when there is not another dog with her but will feed off of the dogs energy. (Ex. When she walks with her crazy foster brother she is also crazy, when she walks with her senior foster brother she can be corrected). She is potty trained and can definitely make it 6-8 hours without needing a bathroom break. She should always be let out directly after being in her crate. She never has accidents in the crate over night. Overall, she is an amazing girl and I’m still trying to figure out how a pitty could be so stinking small and cute. Set up a meet and greet - this can be at an adoption event, in your home or at the fosters home. 5. Pet meet and greet - we make sure your current pets and your potential new family member are a good match! If you are adopting a dog that is currently with either of our trainers, we will have you bring your dog(s) to our trainer for the meet and greet. **We will not adopt a dog into a situation we do not believe the dog can handle. The dogs are our #1 priority.6. Finalize the adoption - sign the adoption contract and pay adoption fee - we accept cash or check. Your adoption fee covers all vaccinations, fecal test, heartworm test, etc as well as spay/neuter and microchipping.
