ADOPT CLEM!Clem is living proof of two universal truths about dogs: Dogs don’t hold grudges, and we humans don’t deserve their unconditional love and loyalty. Clem was found cowering in a ditch off the highway, emaciated and covered in wounds, scabs, and ticks. Even more disturbing, it was discovered that he has no teeth except the very back ones. There is no explanation for this that doesn’t lead to human neglect and/or abuse. His tooth loss may have been caused by extreme malnutrition, starvation driving him to chew on rocks or dirt that eventually wore his teeth down, or a cruel human filing them down to nubs. In spite of his horrific condition, Clem has shown nothing but love and affection to both humans and other dogs. In fact, he is coming out of his fearful shell and loves to play with dogs of all ages and sizes. Clem is estimated to be around 3 years old and is only 30 pounds but is gaining weight and expected to be 50-60 pounds when he reaches a healthy weight. He has a gorgeous tiger stripe brindle coat and soulful brown eyes that are looking for a safe harbor. You can be the savior that finally brings love and security to sweet deserving Clem!Adoption fee is $150, includes neuter, deworming, vaccines, heartworm negative and started on prevention, flea/tick free and microchip. Cat adoption fees are $65 and include spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations and flea/tick prevention.An application is required and will be approved to qualified adopters.
