Chocolate Labrador retriever-Huskies Mix Dog for Adoption in Milton, Pennsylvania, 17847 USNickname: Chase Posted Breed: Chocolate Labrador Retriever / Husky / Mixed (medium coat). Chase is a beautiful dog, high energy, lovable, a goofball, and deep down, his foster mom suspects he may be part kangaroo. Chase is a little ruff around the edges. He clearly is a little bit husky and maybe lab. At his foster home, he has done well in the crate, has not shown signs of food aggression, but he has demonstrated some resource guarded with bones so that is being worked on. Some things that Chase needs to learn: counters/tables are not for surfing, food on plates or in hands does not belong to him, and basic commands make for a well behaved boy. Chase is closely monitored around children (because we believe that is the responsible thing to do with dogs and children) and he does great!! He is gentle with children. He will chew if he is bored but that has not been a significant problem at his foster home. He needed some work in the house training area and that continues to improve. Chase loves cats, and dogs, although he does not appear to respond appropriately to social cues sometimes from other dogs. His foster home has four other dogs so he’s getting lots of practice on his social skills. Chase is young, likely under a year old so there are lots of things for him to learn and luckily he’s in a foster home where he will learn a lot! He’s up-to-date on vaccines, tested heartworm and Lyme negative, and he is scheduled for his neuter in February.
