Border Collie Dog for Adoption in Boise, Idaho, 83709 USNickname: Pete Posted Breed: Border Collie (long coat). Pete is full of love for everyone and everything he meets. He just melts our hearts! He loves to be by his persons side all the time. Pete also loves to be held like a baby in your arms. He can even twirk. lol Pete has lots of energy and will do best with a family who is active. He is water and ball crazy. He listens well and can easily go places with you whether walks and hikes and enjoy events. He needs to have a canine buddy he can play with. He is friendly with all and any dog but some can get annoyed by his energetic manner. He is good with cats. Pete is fully trained plus some and him doing tricks is adorable. He would be a fantastic sports dog in disk, rally, agility etc. Pete was having a hard time in his crate when watching other dogs go by and he had to stay behind but as soon as he got into a foster home with fewer dogs, he did great and will often choose the crate for nap time of his own volition.
