I am a handsome 8-year-old sugar-faced brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to being found as a stray and my current caretaker is unable to keep me. I am described as friendly, calm, and quiet! I’m a very well mannered boy that seems to like anyone and everyone! There are no kids, dogs, or cats in my current home so a proper introduction would be needed with them. I had approx. a 20 minute exposure to a dog-savy 5 year old kid and I was just as calm as when I first met him! I also had a glimpse of a cat and my ears perked up but I did not lunge at the cat. I am house trained but will need assistance learning crate training if that is required in my forever home. At night I sleep in the garage and when the humans must be away, I whine initially but settle afterwards. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig. I can sleep through any noise, will eat out of the human’s hands, and ride well in the car! If you are looking for a calm and compliant older guy to be your companion, look no further!
