I am an ACTIVE boy! I need a family that will spend lots of time with me playing. I would do best as the only pet in my home.Johnny is a 5 year old male American Pit Bull Terrier mix that has been at AWL since 4/30/2020. Johnny is super ready to go to his forever home! Johnny loves getting his energy out in a fenced yard and playing ball/fetch! Johnny is looking for his best friend! Could that be you? Johnny is available for adoption, to foster, or just simply going out for walks. Come say hi!Adoption processThe first thing we require the Adopters to do is fill out one of our applications. Once they get that turned into us we call landlords, vets, and references and check to make sure their animals have all been up to date and make sure their landlords( if they have one ) are okay with them bringing home a new animal. We also call the references to make sure they are good animal owners. We will also look at whether or not you have a fenced in yard and how big your yard is ( if adopting a dog). We want to make sure we have the best fit home for the animals. All of our animals have their boosters (adult or puppy). Some are fixed and some are not. We do have a spay/neuter trailer that comes to the shelter at least once a month that spay and neuters our animals.Shelter locationIf you are interested in meeting one of our animals, call the shelter 765-362-XXXX to make sure the animal is still available for adoption.
