CandiceThis girl is absolutely terrified to be here at ACCT PhillyOpening her kennel door and her stepping out was the first of many brave movements for this girl. She came out, slowly, but trusting. She cowered the entire walk through the kennels, belly almost touching floor but she kept going. It was a long walk to the door but she did it. She stood a little higher once the door closed behind us, more curious, still afraid but braver. She cautiously explored the yard, standing a little higher the longer we were in there, Raising her paw to show she was anxious but she kept sniffing. She eventually was brave enough to come over to me, and once she did she barely left my side. If I walked, she walked. If I sat, she stood next to me. Constantly looking up with the widest, yet gentle eyes. After she was more comfortable we walked the grounds, and she repeatedly looked up at me for reassurance and didn't stray from my side. She even sat next to me while I was talking to other people and let me pet her all over. This girl was so brave today. Let's get her out of here.
