Mimi is an incredibly sweet 9 year old dachshund mix. She wants nothing more than to be a couch potato and does a very cute tap dance with twirls when she is happy. She was very overweight when she came to us, but has been on a weight loss journey and is now healthier and moves around much easier. Her nails were also very overgrown and we have worked on trimming them back over time. She came from a loving home with a child, cats, and other animals, all of whom she was friendly with. She’s so sweet to my two little dogs and my family. Her goal in life is to be a lap dog and lady of leisure. Apartment living is not a problem for Mimi. She’s a pretty easy walker. She will bark at other dogs but is easily redirected. Mimi and her younger sister Emma belonged to my sister’s family. Their housing situation changed and they aren’t able to keep their dogs, so my wife and I have been fostering them for the last six months. We would love to keep them, but we already have two of our own.
