Elmer is a sweet older fellow who is looking for a comfortable, loving home where he can spend his golden years. He is a bit of a heartbreaker and is in need of some TLC. He deserves to be resting his old bones while being pampered in a home, rather than waiting in a kennel. He is a very affectionate boy who likes getting attention from everyone, especially in the form of butt scratches. Elmer enjoys taking in his surroundings on his walks, which move at a slow, moseying pace. Elmer also did well meeting other dogs in play group, basically just hanging out with them (he likely would prefer lower-key company). He's a pretty easy-going guy and he seems housebroken, so we could see him making an easy addition to his new home. He'll definitely shower his future family with kisses and love.
