We were looking for an outdoor dog that would enjoy hiking and camping. So, we began looking at shelters nearby and found that one of them was having a meet and greet at one of the local pet stores. As soon as we went back there to where the pups were, one caught my eye. Tucker (was named Horseshoe) was a 4-month-old (almost 9 months old now) shepherd hound mix. We followed the steps to take him home and have enjoyed making memories with him for these 6 months. Unfortunately, though, he and our other dog do not get along. We have paid for a trainer to help with controlling both of them, but he is always in play mode and she is not. They fight every day. The home that would be best for him, would be one that can give him a lot of attention and has other dogs. He is very playful, loving, and loves other dogs; however, ours just does not like him. We feel that he is just too much to handle with our other doggy, and we need to find him a better forever home.
