Copper has been an amazing best friend for the last 12 years. He’s smart, loyal and still gets the zoomies even now later in life. He is content to sleep most of the day or stare out the window at folks passing by - and while he can be protective of the house, he’s generally very friendly to most people. Unfortunately, he’s never been great with other dogs or with kids. We have a 9 month old infant who recently got nipped after a tail-pulling incident and so we are now looking to find a better fit for Copper to spend the last 3-4 years of his life where he won’t have to deal with the stress of being around small children in tight quarters. He is in great health and has no allergies, joint issues or dietary restrictions. He needs to be walked once a day and given lots of love. We are devastated to be re-homing him but are hopeful we can find someone who is looking for a happy, low maintenance companion to love as much as we do.
