Adopt Jupiter a Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White) Border Collie / Mixed dog

Jupiter was given to me by a co-worker's family friend. He is approximately 4 1/2 years old. Jupiter is half border collie, and half Queensland heeler. He is very sweet and likes to be outside, where he can run around and protect the house! He can be a bit skittish at first, but, once he gets to know you, he wants to be a lap dog! I am looking for a loving and active home for him, with lots of space to run ( a ranch or lots of acreage would be ideal) Jupiter gets along well with other dogs and kids, but does not like cats. (He seems to be afraid of them!) He likes to be outside but, has always slept indoors and likes cuddle time with his humans. Unfortunately, due to health issues, I am no longer able to keep up with him, and feel it would be in his best interest to be with someone who could actively play with him and/or a farm or ranch where he could "work." He has a lot of energy and love to give to the right owner.
