I would like to introduce the very sweet senior German Shephard, Ethel!Ethel would make an excellent companion for someone looking for their best friend. Her favorite thing is following her most beloved person EVERYwhere, and will do so with great persistence as she doesn’t want to be left behind. She loves to go anywhere and does so well in the car that you might forget she’s in the backseat.Ethel was found as a stray so much is unknown about her. She is approximately 8 years old and is house broken and a perfect house guest, not chewing on anything she that she shouldn’t.Ethel likes doing what her human is and she spends the nights quietly in her foster parents bedroom on her own bed.Ethel isn’t really into playing with balls or other toys, although she does like the sound of a squeaky toy. However, she does love walks, hikes and even runs. She’ll go at whatever speed as long as she’s with you.Ethel has been socialized with other dogs, children and cats, and does well with all. She gives cats a sniff and then lets them have their space or just completely ignores them. She likes to run up to sniff other dogs but she doesn't really want to play so she just minds her business once the sniffing is satisfied. They might make her a little nervous because the hair on her haunches will stand up, but she shows no other negative signs or behaviors.Ethel is up to date on her vaccinations and will be spayed and microchipped on May 24. She takes a daily joint supplement and probiotic. Her diet currently consists of both prescription I/D canned food and kibble for seniors… and don’t forget her treats, those are very exciting!If you’re looking for a good friend who is always happy to see you and will be your shadow, Ethel is your girl. She’s pretty mellow most of the time, unless you’re coming home or it’s time for treats, those are the most exciting times!##2048032##
