Scooby is an adorable, playful, happy Pug who was surrendered to our rescue with a badly broken leg and his owners could not afford to get the care for him that he needed. He is just about 1 year old and has had surgery to repair his leg and is ready for his forever home. Scooby is on the small side for a Pug and just as sweet, curious and outgoing as Pug's usually are! He is good with all people, including kids and is good with other dogs. He is walking on a leash well and loves to play and wrestle with other dogs. He would love a home with a yard to play in and perhaps another dog similar in size and age who would like to play with him. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained Scooby is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. Scooby's adoption fee is $450 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering (spay or neuter) all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue.
