Jasper 8 months old 45 lbs Male (neutered) Catahoula / Aussie Mix ‍Meet Jasper! He’s the dog you have been waiting for! Jasper is the sweetest pup, looking for his forever home. After being one of two puppies from his litter left abandoned and waiting in a shelter in Alabama he has finally made his way up to Buffalo. Jasper is SO looking forward to seeing what this “forever home” stuff he’s heard so much of is all about! ‍Some things to know about this good boy: He is doing great in his crate. He stays there all night and barely makes a sound! Jasper would do great with another dog in the house, to show him the ropes and keep him company! He is a medium energy dog, that likes to play and run outside. But also loves to snuggle with you on the couch! (Big fan of the belly rubs too) Jasper has only lived in a home since coming up to Buffalo 5/19. So he is still working on potty training. But he is doing great and catching on quickly. If you keep him on a routine he will do just fine! Jasper is not just a pretty dog, but a smart one too! We’re confident this smarty pants would do great with any commands/ training you may want to do with him! Jasper is currently in a foster home with 2 other dogs and a 6 month old baby. ‍Although he has not been given the opportunity to get too close to the baby he is very calm around her and a perfectly well behaved gentleman. Jasper does get excited to see his people sometimes and will jump up to give a kiss, a hug and say hello! So, he should be watched around small children just like any other dog! Jasper is a happy pup, who is becoming well adjusted to family life quickly. He loves to play with toys, snuggle, run around outside and do all the things your typical puppy would do. He just needs his chance to show you, what an amazing boy he is! Jasper will be the perfect addition to any home lucky enough to have him!
