Luke wants to amaze you with how smart he is. He is obedient and knows many commands so be sure to tell him what you want him to do. He knows sit, stay, come, no, down, off, get in (crate), get it (fetch), and leave it. He is house trained and always had free roam of the house. He goes to the door or walks around you in circles when he needs to go out. He weighs 60 pounds and is moderately active. He likes fetch, running, and walks where he sometimes walks well on a leash. It depends on the person walking him. If he can get away with leading, he will. He is cautious around other dogs and is polite when meeting them on walks or at the dog park. He is cautious around cats and sometimes afraid. He was given up because of his behavior with children so he'll need to live an adult-only home where he won't be around any. He got into trouble for barking and it's one of his favorite things to do. He is protective of his home and family and lets everyone know it. He is wary of strangers so don't expect him to warm up to you right away. He loves being petted. Please offer handsome Luke the home and family he needs. (tw 5/25/2025)
