Meet Popcorn! Popcorn is a goofy and sociable pup who’s just as friendly as he is playful. Hethrives on interaction, whether it’s with people or other animals, making him the perfect companion for a household that’s full of life. Popcorn loves being indoors close to hisfamily, he loves to roll around on the couch, he loves playing with dogs of all ages, male or female, and sizes. He is a ball of joy, always spreading cheer with his wagging tail and big ol’ smile. As fun and playful as he is, Popcorn is also incredibly gentle and patient, always approaching people and animals with kindness and a wagging tail. We love how versatile Popcorn is. During his assessment he met some dogs that take time to warm up to other dogs and some that are not very playful. He displayed great social dog cues and all the dogs played so comfortably with him. He shared his toys with the dogs and with a 3 year old toddler. Popcorn was the most patient with the toddler! He did not jump on him, he took treats so gently and let the toddler put lots of fun costumes on him. Popcorn walk soooo gentle on the leash. Even when meeting dogs! We are so impressed with this boy! We feel that Popcorn would be a fantastic addition to almost any family. If you have children and like to go to the park and walk, he would love that! If you have dogs who need a very social, friendly dog that knows when to stop and go, Popcorn would be great for you! This water loving boy will seamlessly ease into your life! Popcorn did well meeting our house cat, Tom. Tom is a very dog savvy cat and holds himself very confident. Popcorn did want to play a little with him. If you are a cat owner and you are curious if he is a good fit, we recommend a dog savvy cat, or a home where the cats can be in their space. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. The adoption fee is $750 and includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
