While walking in Las Vegas on 5/15/24, I spotted a stray black Labrador puppy wandering around. After failing to locate his owners through online postings, neighborhood posters, and checking to see if he had a chip (nope), we took in the pup we named Beacon. A vet visit revealed Beacon is 5 months old, healthy but underweight from life as a stray. With regular meals and snuggles at our small home, he is putting on pounds and stealing our hearts. As much as we enjoy having Beacon, our household of two 70-somethings, two small dogs, a cat, gecko, granddaughter, and her partner wasn't ideal for raising a rambunctious Lab puppy long-term. My wife drew the line at adding another pet before our summer motorhome travels. So now we're on a mission to find Beacon's perfect forever home before June 1st if possible. This sweet, energetic pup deserves a family that can give him the active lifestyle, training, and heaps of love he needs to thrive. We'd love for Beacon's journey to lead him to you.
