Abby is a 45 pound, 5 year old German Shepherd. She's had all her shots and is in good health. She knows most basic commands, except Heel. Abby is loving with us, and likes most, but not all people. Abby has separation anxiety, but she's fine with going into her crate when we have to leave her alone. Her main issue is that she is dog reactive and doesn't like any dogs. A few weeks ago she slipped her collar while on a walk and bit a passing dog on the haunch. There wasn't any blood. That same week she lunged at another dog which injured my shoulder. She had just completed 6 weeks of behavioral training for dog reactivity when these incidents occurred. The trainer suggested a pinch collar and medication. We got her a few months ago at the Animal Shelter on Mojave Road, where they'll most likely put her down if we return her.She's a good dog but has issues and we are in over our heads. Abby needs an owner experienced with dog reactivity.
