Vy ACCT-A-165079 is a 6 month old female who came to ACCT as an owner surrender on 5/24 due to the owner moving. The owner noted that Vy is high energy and walks good on leash. Behavior Notes: On 5/27 during an adoption meet staff noted: Vy met with a potential adopter and her younger daughter (7years old) yetserday and the young girl was very touchy/feeling, in Vy's face. Vy growled at the little girl but nothin more. She is very sweet but needs space! On 5/26 staff noted: A little nervous at first but very sweet once she warms up. Doesn't like how "in your face" little kids are, 12+. Vy was laying on her bed when I approached. She looked up with very soft eyes and slowly approached the door with a lowered body. She was easy to leash and came right out. Pulls minimally on leash. Vy was social and friendly from the start. She sought out attention right away from one handler and did give a hard stare and a little lip chatter, but quickly adjusted and relaxed. She began leaning in to pets and wagging harder and harder. She allowed all handling with no issues and a wagging tail. Very sweet, just a little nervous at first. Engages in play, gentle and sweet. Interested in toys but does not take possession. Medical Notes: On 5/25 during an intake exam staff noted: Vy was in good general health and was quiet, alert and responsive.
