We rescued Zoie @ 7 months old before the pandemic. She has been a great companion for the last four years. She is great with people and kids. She is very hyper around other animals and not truly sure if she can be trained to be other pet friendly. Since the pandemic she has anxiety and needs someone that can be with her most of the time. She fears any kind of bang including lightning and fireworks which happen in our Modesto location often. My wife and I both work so Zoie is housed in a 10 x 10 kennel with dog house for about 8 hours a day M-F. If a firework or loud noise happens Zoie tries to escape her 10 x 10 kennel and just tears herself up. I am very sad but I feel I can no longer keep her safe and would like to rehome her to a loving person or family where she would not need to be alone a good part of the day. She is fine in the house by herself for a couple hours but 8 hours a day is just to long.
