I took Lucy in when she was a puppy when I lived near Raleigh. Assuming she was ~3 months old at the time, I believe she was born in Dec 2021. A business owner in downtown was giving her food, water & shelter inside his store after she wandered in as a stray. After meeting her a few times in passing, he asked if I could take her since he was so busy & couldn't give her room to run around like she needed to. She was very easy to house & crate train; she even learned commands for sit, lay down & give a paw within another month or so. Her only setback to learning more was her immense amount of energy. While it's been reigned in to a degree, she is still very energetic. She is an absolute sweetheart & loves to meet new people & dogs. She can play a little too rough for small dogs, but she means well & just doesnt understand how big she is. My mother & I both have health issues that affect our strength/mobility. She's grown too strong for us & needs more room for zoomies than we have here.
