Oh my gosh. What could be better than a Golden Retriever mixed with a Great Pyrenees?! The answer....nothing! Well, maybe winning the lottery so you can own ALLLLLL the Pyr/Golden mixes...but I digress! This amazingly handsome boy is Lassie. Lassie is a 2-year-old, 83lb male Pyr/Golden mix. This boy is just about as perfect as they come. First off, he has excellent house manners. He is old enough to understand that pottying in the house is frowned upon, and munching on all our favorite things doesn't earn him yummy treats. Lassie can be trusted to free-roam the house as he is potty trained, not a destructive chewer, and is prefers to keep his house nice and tidy. How else is he supposed to find the best napping places?! Lassie does great with other dogs, kids, and cats. He is the kind of boy who loves to be part of whatever his family is doing, but he doesn't necessarily need to be the center of attention. He is perfectly happy to just mingle and spend some quality time with his family. Lassie has one of the best energy levels around. He is calm but he is also always up for doing something with his people. Be it a car ride, a walk, or maybe even a hike. Just make sure that you are prepared with a Lassie-size backpack should you hike too far and he decided that a long and well-deserved rest is in order and he is not moving one more step. Even if your house is within eyesight. ;) Lassie doesn't really care much for toys...they just don't seem to strike his fancy. However, he does enjoy playing in the water so that should be a plus for you aqua lovers out there! Lassie is one of those dogs that would be a good fit for just about any family out there. If you are single and looking to mingle, this boy would be the perfect excuse to check out those fancy dog parks that also serve adult beverages. If you are married and looking for your first dog together, Lassie is going to soon become the love of your lives. His energy level and manners will soon have you wrapped around his paw wondering how you ever lived without him! If you have other dogs, cats, and even kids...Lassie would also be a good match. He is not picky. The only thing Lassie asks for is a family that is going to love him and be as loyal to him as he will be to you! Along with that, he promises to share his fluff with the whole household. Your furniture, your floors, your clothes, and even your food will soon be accessorized by his fur. No thanks necessary, Lassie is just doing his job in ensuring that everyone knows this is his home and there is plenty of fluff and love to go around!
