Rainier is a stunning herding breed mix that we rescued out of a California shelter. He was a stray when he was brought into the shelter. - Approximately 4.5 months old and 37lbs - Possibly a Border Collie/Aussie/Heeler mix if we took our best guess - Can be shy with new people initially but warms up fast - Sweet, happy puppy who is doing wonderful in foster, going on walks, getting good socialization and learning the ropes of living in a home. - Great with other dogs - Tested him with cats and he was interested and playful but would likely need some training with cats not to pester. Or maybe the novelty would just wear off after a while. Considered cat workable with a dog-savvy cat and humans committed to training. - We think he would be fine with gentle kiddos - No leash reactivity - Can settle nicely in the home and has the ability to chill and just hang out - Can be an active adventure pup too! - Potty training is going well. He is fostered in an apartment and is taken out on leash to potty. - Hasn't used the crate yet since his foster mom works from home but we will start working with him on that. Rainier is a handsome, joyful pup who is eager to learn and be an active member of your home. Rainier is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery which we are scheduling for July at our vet so that he has more time with his growth hormones.
