Male - 1 year - 70 lbs - Microchipped - Neutered - MOHi there! My name is King and I am a 1-year-old, 70 lb neutered male. I am already housetrained and crate-trained. I still believe I am a puppy so I will need to be crated when I am left home alone.I have done well with men, women, and older children. I follow my people around to know what you’re up to and I love pets or snuggles when they’re offered! I can get mouthy when I am excited so no small children please as I work on my manners! I am happy to welcome visitors into our home.I have done well with other dogs and would love to have a playful canine sibling! I have been trying to convince my foster brother that he should play with me, but so far it is a no go—I am good about accepting his rejections though. I don’t like sharing my food so I will need to eat separately from other dogs. I love toys! I will be quick to find stuffed toys to destroy, so my foster parents say I should have durable toys (but you should definitely still get me stuffies…). I also enjoy a good yak chew or a peanut-butter-filled Kong. I cannot go to a home with cats.I like to join you for car rides! My leash skills are a work in progress; I don’t pull much unless we see another dog, so I am learning how to be able to pass other dogs calmly. I have been learning some basic commands such as sit and I would thrive with a family dedicated to continuing my training! I am not a fan of being groomed so my coat is a work in progress, though I will allow some brushing.
