EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 3PM 05/28/24Name: DieselAnimal ID: A735943Age: 6 yearsWeight: 99 lbs. About: Meet this big boy Diesel. Diesel will need to find placement either with a long term foster to try and find an adopter, or with an adopter thorugh PACC before 3pm on Tuesday 05/28/24. The shelter is closed Monday 05/27/24 in observance of Memorial day. Diesel was surrendered to PACC after being picked up by an Animal Protection Officer for an incident that involved Diesel. Diesel was not confined, her ran up to a stanger at a neighboring house and unfortunately did bite the person on their thigh. His previous owner was trying to rehome Diesel due to some recent decline in behavior but did not give specific information and has not returned calls to get information. When Diesel first came to the shelter he was nervous, but after being evaluated in a playgroup with other dogs and getting walked daily by different people, Diesel has learned to be trusting of staff and volunteers. He sits so properly for treats and takes them so gently. He enjoyed getting pets by his ears and was almost falling asleep due to enjoying so much. Diesle is a sweet boy that will need a secure yard and have proper intoductions when meeting new people to asure that he is comfortable. He will need to meet everyone living in his new home. If you are interested in meeting Diesel, you MUST come to PACC in person before 3pm on 05/28/24 and meet with one of our counselors to discuss his history and then meet him in a yard.
