Misty (A134572) is a 7-month-old Pit Bull mix who weighed 46lbs at intake! 05/11/24 Misty arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we do not have any prior information about her. During her stay at the shelter Misty has been very outgoing and friendly with the staff. Misty has also been polite and playful towards her canine neighbors. Her history with dogs, cats and children is unknown so please ensure you are performing slow, safe and controlled introductions in the home. Misty is still a puppy, she tries to keep her kennel clean, but has the occasional accident overnight. Misty will need further potty-training guidance in her new home, she would also benefit from a basic obedience class as well. Misty is looking for a fairly active family that is ready for the commitment of a puppy! Puppies can be a lot of work, but the end result is completely worth it.
