Meet Chewbacca, a truly vivacious tiny 4 pound ball of joy. She's an adorable one year old Shih-tzu mix that was brought into our Houston facility as a stray. She's come a long way since then-her amazing personality has finally started peaking through. Her caretakers have fallen in love with her unique spunk! Although initially very timid with strangers, with a little bit of patience she'll be sure to reward you with her unconditional love. She does well around other dogs but can be nervous around newcomers, both canine and human, so a slow introduction is best. She is making great progress on her potty training skills and would excel in a home where consistency and positive reinforcement can be provided. Chewbacca is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. She is ready to meet her fur-ever home! Adoption fee is: $450 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
