Buddy came in as a stray after being found wandering in a field. He came in very nervous, and stayed in the outside kennels at the shelter, because he was more comfortable outside than inside. He’s started to get used to transitioning to the inside kennels overnight, but he’s definitely an outdoor lover. Buddy is around 4 years old, and weighs around 65 pounds. He’s a sweet boy who loves attention, and loves walks even more. He knows the sit command, and walks well on a leash. After gaining some confidence at the shelter, he has gone from crouching and urinating in fear when people approach his kennel, to barking and growling in fear when you approach his kennel. However, as soon as you actually open the kennel door, he is ready for hugs and kisses, and leashing up for his walk. Buddy just needs someone who won’t be afraid of his big bark, because the love he’s ready to give is even bigger.
