Adoption processAfter filling our our required Adoption Application, we will schedule a home visit. The home visit is to make sure our dog gets along with any existing pets in the home. We also check for obvious hazards and make sure the yard is secure. If everything checks out OK, the next step is the Adoption Agreement, which finalizes the adoption. There is an adoption fee for each dog. (All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped.) After the adoption is complete, there are follow-up wellness checks to make sure everything is working out for the adopters and the adopted dog. At any time after the adoption is finalized, if the adopter decides to get rid of the dog, it must be returned to Cherished K-9 All Breed Rescue.Shelter locationWe have bi-monthly adoption events at different venues.
