Sadie is an incredibly sweet girl and trained to come, stay, sit, “go lay down”, and with the command “off”. She loves walks in the foothills away from houses and other people. She is nervous around dogs and strangers (including children), although she accepts children faster than adults. Sadie does prefer someone at home with her but can be left home with drop-in for food and bathroom breaks twice a day as long as there are no storms. I don't crate her when I leave the house. However, if there is a storm, she will climb on counters and furniture. I adopted Sadie as a rescue. She was a stray. I need to re-home her because when anxious (during a storm or fireworks), I have to physically push her into her crate, and I am not strong enough. It causes me muscle pain for 3 days. I also travel 2-3 days per week, and her anxiety increases because I have to kennel her due to potential storms.
