Adopt Doobie a Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut Dogue de Bordeaux / Boxer / Mixed dog

Doobie was found on the side of the road in 2019 with no microchip or tags. When we found him, he was heartworm positive but got treatment immediately and is now in the clear. We are looking to rehome because we have an infant and two other dogs in the house and Doobie resource guards not only food and toys but now the baby. When we are holding the baby, Doobie also jumps and tries to grab him as if he is a toy. We have done a lot of training and made progress but the fear of having a 90 pound dog grabbing a baby with his teeth is overwhelming regardless of training experience. Doobie is great with cats and older children and female dogs. Not good with small animals or male dogs.
