Adoption fee will be donated.We adopted Honey in January 2024 from Santa Cruz County Animal Control. She was found at a gas station near the Mexican border. Honey is the best dog anyone could ask for. She is easy going, calm, loving and is as happy lounging around the house as she is playing. Its been a trying few months for our family. We have a very active 4-year-old son who has had issues learning and respecting Honey's boundaries. We have tried hard to foster the relationship between them, but progress has been very slow and we don't feel like it is fair to Honey to keep her in this environment. Honey has been incredibly tolerant with our son and has never been aggressive or lashed out at him. My wife and I are honestly very surprised with how much she puts up with from him. All we want for Honey is a peaceful environment where she can relax and be loved. Because of this, we ask that Honey not be adopted by a family with young children who might behave the same way.
