Smokey is a five-year-old, 45-pound Walker Hound picked up stray by a shelter south of town. He was there for two months and finally got adopted by a family with three small kids. They said he was good in the house and great with the kids, but they returned him a few weeks later because he barked. We have him now, and he’s in boarding and playgroups and not barking. Maybe that many young kids just kept him wound up and stressed out? Who doesn’t love a Walker and Tennessee fans will appreciate the name.
