Nina is the perfect lap dog; she will always bring back what you throw! That is Nina in a nutshell: cuddly, playful and a little obsessed with her toys. She will not take anything that does not belong her. Nina does not destroy any property. We first met Nina in California in 2017, abandoned in a park and in really bad shape. We adopted her and moved to Seattle with her in 2019. Nina has struggled a great deal since our daughter was born 14 months ago. My wife and I have also struggled to take good care of her needs. Taking care of a baby with long COVID + work means there is little time to attend to her emotional needs. Last summer, our baby pulled her hair and Nina bit her hand (hard enough to make her cry but not to draw blood). My wife and I discussed rehoming her several times, but did not follow due to our attachment. We are finally posting because she deserves an owner who will put her first.
