Padfoot is a very friendly, submissive, smart dog. We bought him as a puppy before I knew I was pregnant with my 3rd baby. I had just enough time to house train him before becoming so sick I was bedridden. Unfortunately since that time having him in our family has been a struggle. He cannot be left alone in our huge, fenced backyard for more than 10 minutes or he starts chewing things or digging a hole. He is very smart and trainable and obedient to commands. However I have gotten mad at him enough times over the constant destruction of our yard and property (and me being pregnant) that he has become frightened of me and whenever I raise my voice he pees. He doesn't jump up on people but he is big enough that he is constantly knocking over my 3 year old and now 1 year old whenever he runs by them. Padfoot is a very sweet and loving dog (and he doesn't shed!) but he needs to be with a family that will be able to give him the love and attention he deserves.
