Bella is a 10 yo black standard poodle. We got her at 8 wo from a cousin who had always wanted to breed her std poodle, Bella's mom. She was 1 of 6 in the litter. Bella is sweet, loving, goofy, lazy and scared of loud noises like thunder and fireworks. She is housetrained and knows a few commands. She enjoys ear scratches, snuggling with her toys and chasing her tennis ball. She likes to sleep at the foot of the bed and stick her head out the window on car rides. She mostly ignores our cat, sometimes chases or tries to play with him. The issue Bella has is with our 15 yo mini poodle, Ivy. It wasn't bad at first, but over time Bella started showing more dominance and aggression toward her. Now Ivy is almost completely deaf and blind, but otherwise very healthy and we have decided that watching after her and trying to keep them separated is too much. We would like to find a caring home for Bella where she can be the only dog and be loved and pampered in her senior years.
